A working window cleaning round

How Dropby runs its round with Roundly

Plan the visits. Log the work. Know who still owes you. Here is how those three parts fit together for the North London round Roundly was built around.

Dropby is co-owned by Liam, who makes Roundly. This is an example from our own business, rather than an independent customer review.

Built around a real window cleaning business

Dropby Window Cleaners started with a Muswell Hill round in 2022. Liam and Lewis grew the business into Enfield and Primrose Hill. Regular visits, changing dates and payments to keep track of are part of the working week.

Roundly began as the app for Dropby's own round. Dropby has used it every working day since 9 September 2026, with earlier cleaning records brought over from a spreadsheet.

The practical need was straightforward: keep the planned visit, the completed clean and its payment connected to the right customer.

Three checks through the working day

1. Before heading out: check the planned visits

Open the diary to see the day's work. Check which visits are booked and which customers are due. Each customer has their own price, repeat cycle and notes, so the next visit has something concrete to work from.

2. After a clean: record the work and payment

Mark the visit Done, then record Cash, Bank or Not paid yet. Finishing the work and receiving the money are separate steps. Roundly suggests the next clean from the customer's cycle for you to agree.

3. When checking the round: look at what is still owed

Open Owed to see unpaid work. Prepare a reminder by text, WhatsApp or email according to the customer's contact preference, then check it before sending. Record the payment when it arrives.

What this example shows

Planning, completed work and money owed can live together in a round app. You can check the next visit while keeping the record of the last clean, and an unpaid visit stays visible after the work is finished.

We have not measured a before-and-after saving in hours or revenue for this case study. The example shows how Dropby uses the workflow; it does not promise the same results for every business.

Try it with one day's customers

Add a few customers with their prices and repeat cycles, plan the visits and try recording a completed clean. You can check the workflow alongside your current diary before bringing the rest of the round over.
